Good morning - Arsen here. ☕

Welcome back to Bitcoin Therapy. A newsletter where we spoon-feed you the tastiest Bitcoin stories of the week.

First, happy and relaxing Sunday to 4,610 patients reading today. 👋

It’s 10 am here, and I’m enjoying my coffee (black, of course).

I just finished working on my garden, half marathon training is going well, and Craig Wright is officially ruled ‘not Satoshi.’

What else could you ask for?

Alright, here’s what I got for you this week:

  • 5 things to watch this week 🐂

  • Why Bitcoin will outperform your sh*tcoins 💩

  • Craig Wright officially ruled ‘not Satoshi’ 🎉

Estimated read time: 2 minutes and 37 seconds

1/ Bitcoin is now more valuable than Silver

“Move b*tch, get out the way.” 🎵

Bitcoin went from a niche plaything for neckbeards —> to the 8th largest asset in the world.

Let that sink in.

2/ Bitcoin is now worth the same as the annual income in Denmark

Yes, Denmark is a real country. They’re like Finland but without the suicidal tendencies.

The Danes also make good money - $73,520 per year on average.

Well, Bitcoin is now officially worth more than that.

Ha, take that, you happy, handsome, and wealthy Vikings!

What’s the lesson here? Move to Monaco. 💰

3/ Tesla is having fun staying poor

In 2022, Tesla sold their Bitcoin.

Here’s how both have performed since then:

  • $TSLA: -34%

  • $BTC: +232%

Now, I am no mathematician, but I think big number = better

4/ Bitcoin has outperformed Gold and S&P 500

Take a look at this chart. What do you see?

Green, everywhere.

Bitcoin has outperformed traditional assets for the last 14 years (its whole existence, basically).

The only exception was in 2021 (when Bitcoin crashed down from $69K).

5/ Peter Schiff accepts Bitcoin on his website

Well, well, well…would you look at that.

The salt maestro himself, Peter Schiff, accepts Bitcoin as payment at his gold dealership!

I’m not surprised:

  • Peter admitted to regretting not buying Bitcoin in 2012 in a recent interview

  • Peter lost access to a Bitcoin wallet containing all his Bitcoin in 2020

Peter’s Bitcoin would now be worth $15,300 - an 800% gain

Oof x2.

I’d be salty, too.

It’s 2024. Everything you do is being monitored.

That one time you ran out of toilet paper and had to choose between your socks and a T-shirt? Yup, they saw that too.

You can’t undo that incident but can achieve Bitcoin privacy by coinjoining your BItcoin.

I recommend Wasabi Wallet for this. Here’s why:

  1. Beginner-friendly (even my fiancée managed to use it)

  2. Privacy by default

  3. No minimum coinjoin amounts

  4. Your ISP doesn’t see if you coinjoin

What are you waiting for? Take back control of your privacy and keep your Bitcoin holdings private.

Bull market.

The time when you're glued to the Bitcoin hourly chart.

When ex-girlfriends beg to take them back.

When you think you’re hot sh*t and everyone else has an IQ of 75.

No? Just me?

Anyways. There’s a saying, Cream rises to the top, but also, poop floats”

Unfortunately, the same applies to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies

Literally EVERYTHING goes up in a bull market. Even ‘Shiba Pump Moon Degen Coin’.

BUT, not all gains are created equal. In fact, some “gains” are not even real.

This is why you have to look at how assets perform against Bitcoin.

Check this out 👇

Out of 200 top cryptos… *checks notes*…only 39 have outperformed Bitcoin.

So that 150% return you made on ‘Shiba Pump Moon Degen Coin’ was actually -20% when you measure it against Bitcoin

Repeat after me:

Don’t: track your returns against the US Dollar

Do: track your returns against BTC

What’s the lesson here? You’re better off just hodling Bitcoin instead of gambling on dog coins.

Craig Wright.

This is the last time you hear that name in my emails.

The six-week Craig Wrigh vs. COPA trial in London has come to an end.

Here’s what the Judge ruled:

  1. CSW is not the author of the whitepaper

  2. CSW is not Satoshi

  3. CSW is not the creator of Bitcoin

  4. CSW did not author the Bitcoin software

This is a massive W for the Bitcoin community.

The biggest bully in Bitcoin has been eliminated and ridiculed out of relevance.

Remember the ‘We are all Satoshi, except the Craig Wright’ meme from a few years back?

Well, the meme became a reality: Craig Wright is the only person on the planet legally declared NOT Satoshi. Lmao.

Welcome to law, loser.

  • Biden wants to introduce a 30% tax on Bitcoin miners. He already proposed this last year, but looks like he forgot that…classic Biden.

  • Donald Trump acknowledges Bitcoin and calls it an 'additional form of currency.' Orange man likes orange the coin.

  • El Salvador moves all of its Bitcoin (5,276 BTC) to cold storage. Location? A physical vault within El Salvador’s territory.
